Two positions will be included on the 2011 ballot: Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect and Secretary/Treasurer. We received nominations for both positions at the chapter meeting in November but all eligible members are invited to self-nominate or suggest a fellow member as a candidate. Please e-mail nominations directly to Yuki Hibben by Friday, December 10th. The responsibilities for these roles are described in the Chapter Bylaws under Article IV.
The 2011 ballot will also include a vote to amend the chapter bylaws. This revision will add a new article on appointments and will include two positions: Web Manager and Content Editor. The Content Editor will replace the current position of Newsletter Editor as the chapter develops new ways of delivering and sharing content. Please find the text for the proposed article below. The ARLIS/NA Executive Board has approved the article but an amendment also requires receive a two-thirds majority approval from chapter members.
