Mark your calendars for Friday, August 2, 2019 for the Mid-Atlantic Summer 2019 meeting! Our host is the Winterthur Museum, Garden, and Library in Winterthur, Delaware. The full roster of activities and tour options for members is still being coordinated, so details and registration will be posted shortly to the Upcoming Meetings page. The current schedule includes a tour of the Library and the Library Conservation Lab, plus optional (fee-based) tours of the House and Gardens. The Business Meeting will take place in the late morning or early afternoon to accommodate same-day travel.
The Winterthur is located in scenic Brandywine Valley, about 6 miles northwest of Wilmington, DE. The region is also home to several other libraries and museums, including Longwood Gardens, the Hagley Museum and Library, and the Delaware Art Museum.
