Discussion regarding Fall Meeting to take place at Philadelphia Museum of Art, and a designated Friday (likely late October) date considered. Options to be sent to LISTSERV and with majority vote, “save the date” sent once decided upon.
ARLIS/NA reached out regarding membership. Each Chapter has provided Friends’ List to encourage members to join at national level. Requested student list to recruit students to join national organization. Benefits to students discussed. Dan and Ray to discuss further and develop approach to recruiting more students for ARLIS/NA local chapter.
Membership numbers are generally down. May consider contacting expired memberships and request renewal.
Currently 116 subscribers to LISTSERV. Receives its fair share of SPAM and is cleaned up every few days. Tessa requested photos for website. In effort to enrich website, will features a years’ worth of institutional profiles—one per month. First institute will be Philadelphia Museum of Art in the fall.
Domain name needs to be renewed. Currently looking into TEI to see what price is. Other hosting might be cheaper than current host (Blue Host).
New insurance on National Policy will save some money. Policy documents shared with chapter leaders.
One active member relationship now, and is “going good.” Call put out on LISTSERV month ago—received two responses.
